i'm back home finally. happyface. There is nothing better than lying in a bed twice as big as you've been getting used to and possibly getting breakfast in bed in the morning. i revel in the spoiled bratiness that consumes me when i arrive back in the rock. haha. home=good=happy.


soooo i got my haircut and i absolutleyfreakinloveit. i look like a young doe once again.ha.



soo i decided that my style icons this summer are going to be nico from the velvet underground(who also inspired my haircut) and ms. edie sedgwick. it shall be a summer full of leggings, heavy lashes, crazy big earrings, big, boxy, belted blouses(nana's love of alliteration has rubbed off on me apparently)and shaggy bangs. hello?! fabulous.




in other news..i found two new rad musical providers for the ear love. AM and Amy Millan. am has a really chill sound and a manly wistfulness(?) to his voice that i really enjoy. && amy millan is basically in my mind, a female johnny cash(a little watered down on the countryishness though.) the song "skinny boy" is a must hear by the way. i suggest you check them both out. real talent for sure. follow the links on the pictures.

playing hooky

so today has been an excellent day. i am currently playing hooky. i haven't just stopped to chill in the longest time and staying home and doing absolutely nothing was just what i needed. yay for hooky! being naughty has never been better. :p

so i've been watching PR reruns today and it got me all riled up again. daniel voscovic should have won hands down. honestly. the guy is clearly talented his work was just..um, AMAZING. the cohesiveness of his collection was so much stronger than chloe or santinos. even if he didn't win, i'm sure he is going to do great things, i can only hope that someday i can work with him. that would be, needless to say, epic. i mean just look at this.
